Hydrostatic Transmission (3-Range HST) The hydrostatic transmission (3-range HST) uses hydraulic pressure to change speed, operating similar to a vehicle. You'll only need to stop moving if you want to change your range. It's a good choice for frequent front-end loader work such as cleaning stalls, mowing or maneuvering in tight areas. A simple twin-pedal design enables quick and easy direction changes: One pedal moves you forward, the other moves you in reverse. Its ease of operation makes it a good choice for novice drivers. The deluxe suspension seat on select models absorbs any vibration and bumps you experience while working, fully adjusts to accommodates every operator, and includes a foldable armrest for extra comfort and support when you need it. The tractors engine is designed to produce low noise levels with minimal vibration. Plus, an optional rubber floor mat dampens vibrations even more to help you work hard without feeling like you did. These features, and extras like an adjustable seat belt and cup holder make these machines easy to use and easy to enjoy.

Dimensionally well balanced with a tight turning radius as little as 8 feet, depending on the model -- your Bobcat compact tractor is engineered to feel powerful and capable while being responsive to your control. A high minimum ground clearance enables you to keep working in uneven terrain and in wet, muddy conditions, and top travel speeds as high as 18.5 mph (depending on the model) help you cut travel time and focus on your work. The stable wheelbase maximizes towing capacity and optimally distributes weight to each wheel for more stability on hilly terrain. Select models also include steering brakes to assist in maintaining a tight turning radius, nearly pivoting the tractor on the inside wheel.
